The Welfare Department running various schemes for
the welfare of the backward classes and the SC/ST. A step towards achieve
speedy, transparent & accountable governance.
The system links all welfare departments, treasury,
databases of Secondary Schools Certificate (SSC), colleges and banks to
disburse scholarships. This system enables online transfer of Post Matric
scholarship money to students below the Poverty Line, wherein directly tuition
fee reimbursement is made to colleges and maintenance fee to the student after
due verifications into respective bank accounts.
Who can Apply for Scholarship ? :
1.Student must be of Jharkhand State.
2.Student must be either Schedule Tribe (ST) or
Schedule Cast (SC) or Backward Class (OBC).
3.Students Family Income from all sources should not
exceed as per the list given below.

How to Apply
1. Open Official Website of Jharkhand Welfare

2. Click on Scholarship Registrations Tab
3. Read Information Carefully then Go to Student
Login Registration for Post-Metric (Fresh) Scholarships Registrations topic and
click on Register/Sign
4. Fill up Student Login Registration Form with your
own personal details after successfully registration you will receive an SMS on
your mobile number.
5. Click on Student Login Tab then login with your
Login name and password which you have given while registering Student Login Form
in Step 4
6. Go to Post-Metric (Within/Outside the State)
Fresh Application Registrations (2014-15) Topic and Click on Apply Online (Note:-
2014-2015 This Session can be different)
6. Now You have to fill up your scholarship form and
upload required document.

Note:
1. After Submitting of the form please take the
print and upload scanned print with Student Signature through Scholarship
Registrations tab with link Post-Matric Fresh Application(2014-2015) Upload
Documents .
2. Students are advised to give their AADHAR linked
bank account numbers while applying.
