Intermediate UNIX System Analyst
Implementing scheduled Solaris & AIX
OS Patching changes, independently able to follow documented SLF OS patching
preparation, implementation and verification process.
Implementation of routine, documented
server Jumpstart/NIM provisioning tasks
Independent resolution of routine
Service Desk and Service Now Unix support tickets and Unix Inbox work requests.
Proactive Unix OS Patrol alerts
monitoring, backup verifications, OS logs housekeeping and MVM security reports
entry level fixes implementations.
Independent resolution of minor server
issues, with clear escalation path for major or complex systems issues to
senior staff for assistance and signoff.
Implementation, execution and
verification of the SLF Change Management documented and approved routine changes.
Configure, manage, maintain and
continuously improve server, application and system performance, based on
senior technical staff recommendations.
Work with a team supporting,
troubleshooting, monitoring, repairing routine issues and other day-to-day
tasks associated with maintaining the stability, availability and reliability
of server environments.
